Alpinism, Rock Climbing, Canyoning, Via Ferrata
Are you ready to have some fun in the great outdoors? Whether you want to climb a mountain, descend a canyon, or do a via ferrata, you will need some gear. But fret not, you don’t have to buy everything yourself. You can rent equipment from local stores or online platforms that have everything you need for your adventure.
Before you grab the first helmet or harness you see, however, there are a few things you should know. Not all gear is created equal. You should check the quality, condition and suitability of the gear for the activity and location you are going to. It is also a good idea to know how to use and maintain the equipment properly, or you may find yourself in trouble. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or advice from staff or experts. They are there to help you, not to judge you. In fact, many of these places that offer rental services also offer guiding services!
Below is a list of shops and businesses that rent equipment in the areas we frequent. This is by no means a complete list and we will continue to add to it as we discover more places and local businesses. If you know of a place that rents equipment, leave it in the comments section below and we’ll make sure to add it to the list. Now that you’ve got all your ducks in a row, it’s time to enjoy your outdoor adventures. Have fun, be safe, and don’t forget to return the equipment in good condition and on time. Or else.
